Talent spotting students…

Part of my job that I don’t get to enjoy very often is going out to see young bands and artists in their rawest form. Most record label heads and producers will swear down that they listen to EVERY demo album they are posted and catch as many gigs as they can but the truth of the matter is, they don’t.

Tonight I’m away to Molly’s Chamber in Edinburgh to watch a few acoustic sets from various young bands. The best part about this is they are all from Jewel and Esk college in Edinburgh. I love watching amateur bands and love acoustic sets even more so hopefully there will be a few surprises in amongst them.
