Orchestra - From Demos to Live
Larissa and myself have been working on various projects that all seem to melt in to one big giant blur of music. Lately we have been working on original scores for a series of channel 5 documentaries and various pieces of movie orchestration which will hopefully make it to a cinema near you soon. It’s a long process for us to put together a score and it all starts with creating a demo track mainly using expensive software based midi instrument sbefore we get an expensive time orientated human orchestra involved.
Here’s a piece in the early demo stage that I wrote for end credits of a documentary of which I can’t give any details on yet.
Once the track has been cleared for use, we will then go in with an orchestra and record everything live.
Anyway, I’m having an alcohol free weekend and off to watch some movies. Catchya’lllaters.
